If I use more than that, my skin will look overly dewy-borderline-oily. Really though, for me 2 spritz is enough. When I look at myself in the mirror, the glow is back! Nifty stuff. When I touched my face, it became soft and silky. I did this little experiment where I blot my 6 hour-makeup really good down to a matte finish and spritz Dewy Skin Mist couple of times. This is not a toner so it shouldn’t be used as one. I like to use it on top of my regular moisturizer OR as a moisturizer’s substitute when I’m in a hurry OR on top of my makeup during the day. Not too dewy, but there’s that certain luminosity on the skin that we all crave for. And before I know it, I was left with dewy skin. My skin feels rejuvenated and it stays there for hours. Within seconds of application, I can feel that the moisture in my skin increases. Yet, TATCHA’s mist manages to distribute the liquid so much finer. And this is saying something because Shu Uemura’s is water and TATCHA’s a liquid moisturizer, therefore it’s slightly more viscous than just regular water. I never feel that “overly-concentrated area” and having to spread out the product manually.īefore this, I thought my Shu Uemura Depsea Water Facial Mist is the finest mist I’ve tried so far, but TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist trumps it by miles and miles. Part of it is because the mist is exceptionally fine and it disperses the product effortlessly and so evenly across the face. Then spritz 1-2 times on the face (with the eyes closed, of course) and the mist will sink into the skin in almost no time at all.
To use, shake the bottle gently, no need be rough with it. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin, almost like nothing, yet it gives effective moisture into the skin. The milky emulsion works as a ‘light moisturizer’.

This Okinawan Red Algae is a moisture magnet that will retain and pulling moisture into the skin, keeping it hydrated. One of the key ingredients of Dewy Skin Mist is Red Algae that’s harvested in Okinawa. It honestly feels like opening a birthday present every time I receive a TATCHA product. Inside, Dewy Skin Mist is encased in a lilac glass bottle with gold detailing. The bottle is wrapped with (what I believe to be) a Japanese washi paper with a description of the product printed on it. Look at that, it has an ochre grosgrain ribbon as a tab to pull out the box housing the product inside. In my opinion, TATCHA definitely has one of the best packaging designs in the beauty industry.
